Sugar arrived home on June 11, 2013. I remember the words said as I signed her paperwork. “All the cancer which was visible was removed. There may have been more……… You should have one year with her.” She was a senior pup with cancer. That description was not what I heard……. All I saw was pure 💕 💗 💕 🐶.
it’s almost 5 years later! Sugar is showing her age, but so am I….. to combat both we have a second dog. He is ours… Louie is borrowed from my granddaughter. We have all the fun of Louie’s cuteness and none of the bills of the veterinarian or the groomer. He lives here but does go home for visits. Or does he visit here and goes home? He is 2 years old and his breed is a Dorkie. (Maltese/Yorkie/ Dumb. Weighing in at 7 lbs all our cats are bigger!
